Creating Marketing Content That Counts

Once the Infusionsoft automated marketing and follow up system is in place, clients always ask us about how to generate great content.  We all know how important social media and networking can be to our business and brand.  And great writing and content is what gets the best results.  But where do you find the time and creativity to create the content?  Like writing the copy for a lead generating website, blog posts, articles that position you as an industry expert, weekly follow up emails, email marketing campaigns, eBooks, White Papers and more?  Here are three simple answers.

1.  Learn to create your own content.  Some people believe that everyone has a book to write.  Or something to write.  It doesn’t have to be a best-selling Novel.  But you do have a story to tell if you’re in business for yourself.  And the story has to have appeal and value to your market.  The story should inspire people.  So you must have some level of inspiration to tap.  Once you find your inspiration, your driving factor, you can better write from the heart.  To tell your story in a way that people not only want to hear it, but choose to share it with their friends and family.  Keep it simple.  Read more.  Keep a notebook handy to track your ideas.  Write as you would speak to a group of ideal prospective customers.  Market by telling a story and providing education value that counts to your audience.
