I was meeting yesterday with a new client and partner to discuss the launch of the Website and business. He had met earlier that day with a Website designer understanding that Website design is a huge aspect of our work with clients. It was a friend of his and he felt that he might be able to learn more about how she works with clients.
What I learned yesterday is that WealthNet is perfectly positioned to help clients develop not only their Websites, but also their entire internet marketing strategy as it relates to growing a business. That’s right. Growing a business. Meaning proper planning of the business and marketing vision and mission, proper positioning, branding and design of Websites and the many important aspects of executing properly.
What I also learned yesterday is that my friend’s friend the Website designer didn’t ask intelligent business questions about the business plan, the purpose of the Website, and the desired function of the site.
So in the next several posts I plan to share with you some of the intelligent questions we ask our clients BEFORE we start building their Website. In fact, although we ask approximately forty three questions, I’ll actually share the most relevant questions regarding overall function as it relates to business development.
Every day I see tons of useless Websites. Some are ugly. Some are incomplete. Some are completely useless. And many are “okay” if the business owner wants a static internet presence along the line of a brochure. At WealthNet our goal is to ask intelligent questions early in the process and ensure the sites we build meet the goals of the business.
