Nov 18, 2009 Social Media Made Simple Presented by WealthNet Partners, LLC

If you asked most people five years ago what the heck social media is, you’d probably get a lot of blank stares.  And if you ask most people today what social media is, they’ll hedge a little because most people aren’t quite sure what it really means.

More important, based on what I’ve seen lately, people are really curious about how to get started.  Sure, the early adopters like us have been publishing blogs and leveraging the internet for years.  But millions of people are just realizing that social media, also referred to as social networking, interactive marketing, and Web 2.0 is here to stay.

So the biggest question I get is, “How do I get started?”  If you’re like most people you’re already pressed for time.  And fitting in another responsibility seems ridiculous.  Unless it actually helped you grow your business, generate more leads, and create real wealth in your life.  Then it might make sense to pay closer attention.

In the days and weeks ahead we will share with you, “Social Media Made Simple Presented by WealthNet Partners, LLC.”  Keep coming back to the blog, learn, share, contribute with comments.  Help us create more wealth through entrepreneurship.

Here’s are a few of the questions we will answer…

1. What is social media?
2. What is the point?
3. What is in it for me?
4. Who is online?
5. What will it cost me?
6. How do I find the time?
7. How do I get started?
